Where the Wild Things Are - Terrible. Cute, but terrible. It stared out with all these problems with the Wild Things on the island and along comes Max saying that he'll make the sadness go away...he never does. In fact, he probably leaves things worse than when he came.


Ponyo - Cute. Definately cute. But not one of Miyazaki's best. If anything, go and see it because Ponyo is adorable when she eats ham.


9 - Probably the best I've seen so far this year. Sure it was a little short and had some jagged storyline and nasty plotholes, but the animation was incredible and the characters so great that it's easy to look over. I liked it so much, when I left the theatre I bought a movie poster. It's on my bedroom wall right now.


Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs - great funny flick. Plus, little Flint Lockwood is so cute I nearly fell out of my seat.
